Knit Long (KL)

About

Elongated stitches are often used as decorative, lacy stitches in the work and are accomplished by wrapping the yarn around the needle more than once and dropping the excess loops in the following row or round. Elongated stitches can also be used to add extra yarn length into tight areas, like shawl edges, for extra give.
